Alternative backgrounds and different colours on d

Hi, this is my first post and I am a bit of a Joomla novice.
I have bought Hot Photoportfolio and slowly putting my own content in.

Can I assign a different background (I have prepared a jpg to the same spec.) and assign it to only a few of my pages? If yes, how?
Also, can I change the menu colours for these pages? Again, if I can, how?

Thanks Ivan, I have realised that I need to copy the template somehow, been trying to but can't seem to understand the right procedure, I have tried searching for answers online but cannot find clear step-by-step answers ... can you help please? What does "assign different copes to different pages" mean? Or, what is a "cope"? Thanks

copes is copies . If you use j16+ then you have duplicate option if you use j15 then you have to copy template manually and change it's name and appearance of that name in all it's files.
