well i also changed this:

ul.mnu_topmenu {
background: none;
padding-top: 40px;
padding-left: 200px;
position: absolute;
}

to

ul.mnu_topmenu {
background: none;
padding-top: 20px;
padding-left: 0;
position: absolute;
}

in layout.css

and I had minor change in

jquery.hjt.nav.js

The only problem now is that the up background image is appearing only in home page. Every other page has only green colour

as :
