Hello,

This Joomla installation is damaged. I don’t know if it is like that just after the HotStart installation or it was ok some time and then started to behave like that?

You don’t have much options:

1. If you did some work, please use backup to return your website to the normal state. You can ask hosting provider to restore your website from backups.

2. If it’s a new HotStart installation please try to install it again. If it doesn’t work, let us know.

Regards,
Milos

This issue has been on since after the HotStart installation.

But i tried to ignore the issue since I could still be able to create articles, build my menus and customize most of the items. I have even uploaded enough content on the articles that are making it sound like an uphill task starting over again.

But now, I need to tweak some settings on the menu color, logo, and the general Joomla update and i realize how critical accessing the system module is.
Is there a way around this, maybe a file I can overwrite in the public-Html that can resolve this without loosing the amount of work already done on the site?

Hello,

You probably did not upload all HotStart files properly (there are 1000s of files). Try overwriting the public-html file but skip the "installation" folder. This may fix this issue.

Also, you can access the template options (and all other admin pages) if you enter the URL in the browser bar directly (after logging in):

However, your administrator home page (dashboard) is not working.

overwriting the public-html, won't this also overwrite all the articles and media content already created on the site? That's my worry
