HOT MAPS was created by aontanon
Hello
one question about HOT MAPS component.
I have created an API Key in google but I can not use hot maps because I need to enable billing.

This is the error I'm getting:
Geocoding Service: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started

I'm checking this but I'm snot sure if it's free, could you help me?
developers.google.com/maps/billing-and-pricing/billing

Thanks!
Antonio

Hello,

According to their current pricing scheme, you have 28,500 free map loads per month. However, it's necessary to add billing details. For detailed info, please consult Google support.

You can also include their maps 100% free without a key using simple HTML code that you paste anywhere on your website (in a Joomla article or custom HTML module). The map will be included as an iframe on your website. However, you won't have any control over the map's style. If this option is suitable for you, open a Google map location and on Google Maps website look for the Embed button.

Regards,
Milos

Hello
then I think that for a small website I don't have to worry because 28.500 loads per month are a lot and I don't think I will reach to this.
Thank you very much!

Best regards
Antonio
