Template does not show as in the Demo

I have installed the Tennis template but it does not show as it is in the demo on your website. What modules do I need to activate and at which module positions should I put them. Once the page shows as it does on the demo I know how to replace the images and text. Please help...I am behind on this website.

Inside a zip you got from us there is zip with name ending like ...hot_start.zip . You need to copy all files form it to your web root. Then browse base link to start installation of joomla. Remember to click on "Install Sample Data" (Default English-GB Sample data if j3.0)

I am now copying all the files to the root folder. How do I 'browse base link to start installation of joomla'? does this mean going to www.mysite.com/administrator and following the instructions?

You can go to www.mysite.com or www.mysite.com/installation

And my database? will that be affected?
