Linking slides to external links.

From reading the documentation, I thought it possible to link a given slide, but when I put the http:// link in the module, the link did not work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks and God bless.

Is there any way to have the external link open in a new window/tab? I can't seem to figure that out.

I am using this here ( www.sustainableharvest.org ) in the middle block and would like the link to Charity Navigator to open in a new window.
