Removing the image tab / aligning tabs vertically

Hi there!

Thank you very much for offering the newsflash for free!

Can you help me with two things?

I would like to align the tabs vertically, so that the image is on top, the detailed information tab in the middle and the box with the slider in the bottom position. Is that possible? I would like to add the newsflash in a narrow module position and it is too wide in the standard layout.

And - can you tell me if it is possible to remove the image tab completely? Or at least that if I don't select an image that the "missing image" symbol (rectangle with red "x" in the corner) will not be displayed?

Many thanks!

Christoph

Yes you can position tabs horisontaly and put them on top just by changing css . That css file is in:
/modules/mod_hot_newsflash/tmpl/style.css

Thank you for your reply.

I have already tried to "fumble around" in the style.css, but it never has looked the way I wanted it. Either sizes of the rotator go crazy or parts overlap each other.

Can you tell me what I have to change in the style.css to align the three parts of the rotator (the image, the table with the skipping dark bar and the middle part with the detailed text) vertically (not horizontally)?

If I could just delete the image part completely, I could even leave the alignment horizontally as the Joomla module would be just wide enough for the two remaining parts. Both the vertical alignment and deleting the image would be best though :-) I just don't know how...

Greetings,
Christoph

Hi!

I sent you a note via the button "report to moderator", but I'm not sure this button acts like a PM modul, I can't see something like an inbox in my portfolio.

How will you respond to this "sitemail"?
