how do you think that , position is selected form module settings , so you go to new, select module you want to create , settings page appears and there you chose position.

Quick fix, please edit file /templates/hot_flashes/templateDetails.xml and change this part:
Code:
<positions> <position>logo</position> <position>user3</position> <position>footer1</position> <position>footer2</position> <position>footer3</position> <position>footer4</position> <position>footer5</position> <position>bottom</position> <position>debug</position> </positions>
with this:
Code:
<positions> <position>left</position> <position>right</position> <position>logo</position> <position>user1</position> <position>user2</position> <position>user3</position> <position>footer1</position> <position>footer2</position> <position>footer3</position> <position>footer4</position> <position>footer5</position> <position>bottom</position> <position>debug</position> </positions>

New updated version will be uploaded soon.

the work-around is just to type the positions instead of choose it
