Regarding top menu

Hi,

Can you please help me. I want to have the sub menus in vertical style not horizontal. Using Sportal theme for Joomla v1.5. Please help, its very ugent.

you can add menu class suffix " vmenu" , then use

.vmenu ..{}

to style your menu. There are lots of examples on internet how to make vertical menu only by css . If you want for transition effects you must then use some jQuery menu. Also check joomla extensions probably there are ready solutions.



If you want us to make it for you you must request custom job by sending us e-mail using "report to moderator".

Thanks ivan.milic for replying. I am not a programmer. I have seen in the documentation of the template:

"If you like classic vertical drop-down menu, instead of horizontal, please type "nav2" in Menu Tag ID."

I really don't know where this modification has to be done... is it some file... Please guide..its very urgent.

That is if you want your top menu to look like our default menu found in most our templates, see vortex for example.

To do that go to module manager and find module with title Top Menu , in module settings you have option Menu Tag ID , so you need to change it's value.

yes...i need the same...as there in vortex..but when i changed the tag to nav2, its just showing all menu in tree structure and not like the vortex...please help me....if you need the access to my administrator...i will give you right away...please help
