Topmenu background color

Hi,

how do i change the background color of the topmenu bar?
now it is white,but want to change it to something else.

You can achieve that if you edit background image /templates/hot_sportal/images/topmenu_bg.png
You should also edit the images that represent edges: topmenu_l.png and topmenu_r.png (they are in the same folder).

i tried this but the topmenu bart remains white.
i'm using the custom style instead of 1 of the other styles

it is red now,with on top and bottom unintended white stripes.als the sides are still white.
i changed topmenu bg,topemnu r and topmenu l
