Close image not showing

sorry if this is already here. i've found a few threads that were close.

here's my issue:
i've got a pop-out image working in the architecture template by using the code and procedure found here:
demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/index.php?template=architecture

lightbox appears to be working and when the article is on my home page, the "Close X" image is in the bottom right- no problem. however, when the article is NOT on the home page the "Close X" image is a blue question mark.

I've looked at this thread:

...but, i do not have this file: modules\mod_hot_lightbox\js\jquery.lightbox-0.5.min.js anywhere in my installation.

any suggestions?

that file must be there , maybe use use plugin then look at template's /js folder.

thanks ivan. you are right, the file is in the templates /js folder- however the image "Close X" still does not show up. very strange.

Open plugins\content\photogallery\js\jquery.lightbox-0.5.min.js

you will see compressed javascript cod but you will be able to recognize paths:

..'plugins/content/photogallery/images/...

modify all of them like this:

..'/plugins/content/photogallery/images/...

(note that / is inserted) , if that does not help use absolute paths:

..'<your site url>/plugins/content/photogallery/images/...

ok, so i'm feeling like an idiot. i've got no photogallery folder in 'plugins/content. i suppose this is why its not working. should i buy the photo gallery plug in? i thought this worked with the architecture template... maybe not?

there is no plug-in like this with the install.

In your case, the file is located in /templates/hot_architecture/js/jquery.lightbox-0.5.min.js
