virtuemart 1.1 settings

Hello,
I need help setting up my virtuemart templates, I am not completely sure how to do it on VM 1.1.

After I installed ecommerce template I have, all joomla stuff changed but not the VM, my VM template options remain unchanged, no added template, and default template looks like default VM template.
Do I need to separately install VM template?

did you change localhos:8888 to your site link in virtuemart.cfg.php ?

I am doing a live change using one of the domains i had parked, cfg is setup correctly.
In vm under layout for site I can only choose default layout that VM comes with.

I should add I didnt use your hot start cause its supposed to be visual upgrade of already made site.

didi you copy theme to \components\com_virtuemart\themes\

That fixed my problem, I dont know why but I assumed that your regular installation will do that for me considering it wasn't put separetly as part of instalation. I had to dig it out of hot start instalation.

Now I have a different problem, in user4 module position that is meant for search, I want to put VM search module not regular joomla search. But when i put it there because that position module wasn't meant for VM search I have a conflict between your pretty graphic for search. I want to remove the graphic, but I cant find code for that part in your template. If you can point me in right direction, I would appreciate it.
