Hello,
I just purchased Sparky Pro and was wondering how I would go about upgrading an existing website running 0.96b?
Can you provide step by step instructions? I do have FTP access as well as database access from Network Solutions.

Look forward to getting upgraded! :)

Thanks,
Kenny

Install sparky template. Draw your layout and place module positions as you want in it. Move your modules in positions available in sparky. Then customize.

Hi Ivan,
Thanks but I already have a template design created from 0.96b (from Joomla 2.5) and it was created using the Free version that doesn't allow a template export. I can't just install the Sparky template. I assumed with my scenario I wouldn't have to recreate the layout (naming the divs reimplementing module positions all over again???) I've upgraded to Joomla 3.3.5 so that won't be a problem just need to know how to utilize my existing template (from 0.96b) but install Sparky Pro.

Can you elaborate a bit more in detail? I just paid $30 for this and can't get it working.

Try to just replace files of old sparky with sparky pro files. But make backup first

I've done as you've instructed and the layout builder shows up nicely but I'm receiving this error and my template looks jumbled and not formatted. I had to re-input the rows back in manually from the layout builder, ugh in order for things to get close. How can I fix this error. (i'm now running Joomla 3.3.6)

Here is my test site location where I'm working: weilerpublications.com/weiler2014upgrade/

Here is how the website is supposed to look (current site) weilerpublications.com/

That warning should disappear if you save once.

Sites look same?
