are all this extensions compatible with joomla 1.7

i installed almost all the free extensions on joomla 1.7 but couldn't find the feature that will enable me to configure them. could this mean that they are not compatible with joomla 1.7??

Hot News flash and Hot Image Slider

Both are tested with Joomla 1.7.0 and they worked fine. What problems exactly you experienced with these modules? Did you install correct files: mod_hot_image_slider16.zip and mod_hot_newsflash16.zip

i installed this files mod_hot_newsflash.zip and mod_hot_image_slider and i cant see the section were i can configure them in modulemanager/hotnewsflash and modulemanager/hotimageslider. could it be that am suppose to download mod_hot_image_slider16.zip and mod_hot_newsflash16.zip. thanks

You should install files with 16 in names that I mentioned.
