Cart dissapears when updated, or delete items

Hello,

i recently ordered hot cosmetics...a awesome template!

But i ran into a little problem:

when i add a few items to the cart and i select the cart after that, than when i delete one or more items or change the number of items than the cart dissapears. Only when you click on the cart symbol in the upper right corner it appears again...i think this is confussing for the customer.

is there some sort soultion for it?

i think the problem is not clear to you. The bug is also in your demo site. So if you would try to find the bug, look at the demo-site of hotjoomla!

1 added 3 screenshots to describe the problem:

scene1 - add several products to your cart
scene2 - select the cart and notice that is selected 3 items of a product and 2 items of another product
scene3 - this is the result after i removed one of the products in the cart.

so if the customer selects several products, goes to his or her cart, than removes or updates the amount of products, than the system fails to show the changed cart status!

please help me out on this one.

Yes, but when you click cart button again everything is OK. I understand your problem, but this is not about our template. This is bug in VirtueMart. Instead of leaving on the Cart page after product removal, it redirects user to the home page. Hopefully, this will be fixed in one of the next VirtueMart releases.

I don't believe this is a Virtuemart issue since I have other templates working with Virtuemart carts and this issue doesn't happen.

For some reason, the shopping cart doesn't stay in the window when you delete an item from it. Could it be that the top module is hard-wired to open the main page and the main page doesn't allow it? Is there a way of changing this in the template? Our site isn't live right now and is in development. www.shadowdragonslair.com

Does that happen when you disable Search friendly URLs?
