Remove space between Logo & User3

There too bi a gap between these positions and, using firebug, I can see that there is something that can be removed, but I cannot trace it.

Can someone advise me how to move the menu/page up, closer to the logo?

It looks like it is part of the logo module, but there is minimal reference to it in that file!
