Template not uploading

Can't upload template into joomla 2.5

Any ideas, I get this error

Did you unzip the file your downloaded? Did you read PDF with documentation that's inside the archive? Are you trying to upload the correct file? Did you try HotStart installation that copies demo data and installs the template?

The file was unzipped, I have installed a lot of templates over the years through the bad end of joomla websites, every once in a while some templates are just buggy.

This one is not buggy for sure, because 1000+ users installed it before...

Please read documentation, this is all I can say. And describe me better what you are trying to do so we could help you.

I am running joomla 2.5

I unzipped it

I open the back end of my website

I went to extensions

Browsed for the template

I hit up load and I get an error.

The reason why I think that it is the template is, I was able to install all of the modules and plugin that came with it I just could not get the template to install, all I get an error

First of all, is the file your are trying to install named as "hot_hotel25.zip". I guess, yes, but I must ask, sorry.

Second, this file is 1.2MB and some servers does not allow so big uploads, as your error message says. You can unzip it on your computer, and then upload folder hot_hotel into /templates folder of your Joomla. Also, upload file "en-GB.tpl_hot_hotel.ini" into the folder /languages/en-GB

Last but not least, I guess you expect to see the copy of our demo server as soon as you install template. You won't! So, if this is what you are looking for, instead of doing a classic template installation, please follow this guide: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/hotel17/inde...to-install/hot-start
