Hello,

Using the Joomla 2.5 template w/ J 2.5. I have searched through Module Manager, looked at all the published & unpublished modules and I don't have Panel 1-4 (the Top Panel) or Advert 3 or 4.

Are these located somewhere else and I have to activate or select them in order for them to show up in the Module Manager?

Many thanks!

Patsy

Module manager manages modules, when you create or edit module settings you can select/change module position in it's settings.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I installed the Hot Start w/demo data with this template.

I'm in the Module Manager and the modules aren't there for Top Panel, Advert 3 & 4, Footer 4, Positions 2 & 5, User 6, 7 9, or Register.

When I'm in Module Manager & use the filter: Sort by Position, Top Panel doesn't even show up in the list and the other ones mentioned above show up in the filtered list but return the error: No modules installed for your query _____"

Is there somewhere I can download those modules or is there a place in the template where I have to activate them or something?

Here's another example: I'm editing the module in advert 1. I click the button to select position and panels 1-4 show up as optional positions but when I click on any of them, then the Top Panel shows up in the front end of the published site and advert 1 no longer shows up in the Module Manager and now advert 1 is giving me the "not installed" error and not showing up in the Module Manger list!

So how do I get to the Top Panel modules if they're not shown in the listing in Module Manager (not showing as published or unpublished and not showing when I select the Sort by Position filter... confused!! :-)

Thanks again!!

It seams by your conclusions that are you very new to joomla and I get impression you got some thing wrong.

Module potions (module containers) are defined in template, to see some module you have to create it and put it that position. If you don't have modules in some position you will not see it in filter.

Thanks for getting back to me and I'm new to 2.5 but not Joomla. With my other template (Hot Restaurant 1.5) all modules show up in the mod manager and to use them, I only have to publish them; even the unpublished modules show up in the mod manager.

I installed Hot Business using the Hot Start method and installed demo data, without any errors.

The modules I am looking for are not listed in the module manager so I cannot publish them or assign their positions to be able to use them. I don't want to create a module, I want to publish and use one of the 35 fully collapsible modules that are included in the Hot Business template but if they aren't in the mod manager, I cannot publish them.

I have attached screen shots showing you what is included in my 2.5 module manager list.

Thanks again :-)

Patsy

If you installed hot start with sample data, you have all modules as on our demo. If you want some module that is not already created create it.
