Logo Change was created by justmeyogs
Hi There,
Hoping you can point me in the right direction. I am currently using this template for a bilingual site. English and French. I have 2 logos, one for each language. I would like to know how best to implement a language check and display the corresponding logo based on the language the user is in.
Hope you are able to assist me.
Thanks
Yogesh

In module settings you select module language (default is all) If you select en-GB that module will not display for example if language is de-DE

Hi Ivan,
I apologise for the late reply. I guess I am a bit confused as to which Module Setting you are referring to. Can you please give me a bit more detail if possible.
This is what I have tried. within Module Manager, I have changed the Logo Custom HTML module to language en-gb only. Within the editor section I have inserted the english logo. This did not have the behaviour I was hoping for. I unpublished the module and the logo is still present. This setting was done within the Template Manager area using the Sparky framework. I turned off the logo and published the Module and still did not see the English logo showup on the english side of the site. I hope this has made sense and gives you an understanding of what I have tried.
Thanks
Yogesh

So you create one more copy of module instance ("New" in module manager or just copy) but with different language set

Ivan,
I have created 2 second Logo Custom HTML module and set it to language French and the original Logo Custom HTML module is set to English. I am still not seeing the logos switch as I had hoped based on the language I am in. Are there any other settings that I need to make in order for the switch to work?
Keep in mind that the setting in the template manager is turned on.

So published parameter, language and menu assignment are only 3 thing you should set properly
