Hot Effects Rotator Images Not Showing

Hello!

For some reason, my home page slider (Hot Effects Rotator) has stopped showing the images. The curved drop-shadow graphic is still there, but the slider images themselves are no longer there. I don't believe I did anything to affect this change. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may be causing?

Another unrelated question about Virtuemart: I have the user's "State" of residence marked as required, but people are checking out without selecting anything. Is there a known Virtuemart glitch that would be causing this?

On first site you have two jquery references:

First:

second:

you need to remove on of them. Second if preferred but you can try removing first one you just need to comment out code in index.php of template.

For second site you can login to joomla , go to vm admin, find option in left menu "User Fields", there you will get list of all user fields where you can identify that one and mark it as required.

The second point seems to have been fixed by updating my Virtuemart version. Now switching on the "required" toggle works. Thank you!

The first point is still sticky, though. I've tried removing each jquery.min.js file at different times, and neither seems to get the slider kick started again. RIght now the first one is removed:

There are other jquery references throughout (in the language translation, etc.). Could those be interfering as well?

Try to enable jquery in module settings itself so we could see what happens
