Hello,
An error suddenly occurred: When displaying the frontend, the following error message appears and a long list of errors:

There is no "template.cassiopeia.ltr" asset of a "preset" type in the registry.

How to fix the problem?

Michael

Hello,

Please check if file /templates/cassiopeia/joomla.asset.json is available in your Joomla installation. If it's named joomla.asset.json.json, rename it to joomla.asset.json. This is the only info I could find on the internet. If it doesn't help, you will need to restore your website from a backup.

Milos

I did it. Then the system and the preview ran. As soon as I change something (e.g. swap an image) and I update the frontend, the same thing happens again. So there must be an error in the template, because the preview for the "Cassiopeia" template works without any problems.

Hello,

I can't reproduce this error on our server (Joomla 4.1.4, PHP 7.4). I tried to edit an article from the frontend, changed the image, and saved the article. No errors at all.

Do you remember, when you downloaded the template? What's your Joomla and PHP version?

Milos

Hello,
I downloaded the template about 4 weeks ago and installed it as a package with Joomla 4.
The PHP version was 7.4
I have now upgraded to php 8.0. The error has not been repeated so far. I really hope it's not the template because then all my customization work would be for nothing.

If you are getting this error on PHP 8 only and not on PHP 7.4, then it's related to your server's PHP 8. Maybe you are missing some PHP modules. So, for now, use PHP 7.4 and consult your web hosting provider about this issue.
