Menu items cannot be clicked on after Joomla 4 upgrade

I am sure you are inundated with Joomla 4 upgrading snags, I have over 100 sites to upgrade and so far, so good.

I am having a problem after updating the Kindergarten template, where the menu is not working, I can see the menu and items, but its not clickable, can you help with some suggestions please?

Your website has Javascript errors related to the accordion menu. It's probably not upgraded properly or you did not follow all the required steps. This is the correct way to upgrade from J3 to J4. Make sure you followed all these steps:

It’s recommended to create a copy of your website and try the migration to Joomla 4 there.

Thanks Milos, I must have tried to upgrade to Joomla 4 over 10 times with this template, I have noticed the file structure is not like the other J4 templates, there is also an issue in the layout tab, seems its not possible to remove the right position from the layout
When I change the logo file, the menu breaks as per my first post.

I have upgraded over 20 sites with hot templates, is there no comment on the fact that this template installs differently, a folder does not get created under media/templates/site, the images are still in the old j3 location.

All Joomla 4 templates create a folder in /media/templates/site folder. The Kindergarden also creates the folder /media/templates/site/kindergarten and uploads all static files there.

So, if you uninstall the original Kindergarten template (J3) and after that install file "hot_kindergarten4x.zip", the folder structure I described above will be created.
