Hot News template not working well as the demo sit

Hello, i downloaded the template and tried all i could to install it with the sample files but i did not succeed, then i had to install just the template and the modules after installing it i face the following problem:
1. The Latest and most read module in the demo, i don't know how enable it
2. This sign is appended to the articles in the site e.g. Commending the current administration’s, follow this link to read more nigerianewsgroup.com/Business-News/with-...business-expert.html
3. I could not get the top menu to look like the demo see it nigerianewsgroup.com
4. I do not know how to insert the articles in the home page of the demo site that has, Title, image, small description and read more link
5. I inserted ads code in the site but it did not show up.
6. i do not know how to add the color image in the top menu area, red, green, yellow etc. that link before the top menu items

I really love the demo template when i saw it and will be happy if i can achieve it exactly

Please can you help me look at the issues

Best you install hot start locally so you could see how it is set up.

Also maybe you could just copy that installation to your web server

Your host needs to use PHP 5.3.1 or higher to run this version of Joomla!

You need php 5.3.1 for joomla 3, its clear

but i have few issues

2. I could not get the image in the "Latest" to show only text is seen

3. i could not get the items in the front to show the image, short description and read more link

Please can you help out

I also want to remove the Joomla templates powered by Sparky. at the footer i paid for these template and do not want that link back and the hot news portal image on the footer left
