Set up Parent product and child product

Hi I'm using virtuemart2 , and i need to know how to set up parent and child product.
for example

Product Category : Pizza
Product : Margarita Pizza
Child Category : Topping , Base Souce,

Thank you for your quick response and i have red that document .
I'm Using virtumart 2.0. I try to copy child items to multiple parent product and seems it's not possible.
Example.
Product Type : Pizza
Product :Margarita Pizza, Italian Pizaa , etc...
Child product : Topping (28 Child product)

I try to assign these child product to multiple parent product and seems not possible ...

Example Topping Fresh Tomato need to assign parent product Margarita Pizza,peporoni pizza, etc...
Is there are any way to assign child product to number of parent products in one go.

you can not do that. Maybe "product types" can help you
