Upgraded then I can't access!

Hi - I think have done something wrong with the access after upgrading to Joomla 1.7.4 and installing the 1.7 Joomla version.

Then I want to go back into the site to put everything back in an order.

But I am blocked from my own website! I have backed up my old website...

Do I erase the 1.7 and re-install my old website to get the access back?

Any tips would be great..

It's all ok now. I have backtracked and decided to start all over again. The website needed to be updated anyways. Learned my lessons.
