How do i get rid of the title on the front page of my site that says, "Welcome to the Frontpage"? I have clicked hide title in the parameters of the article but the title is still there.

Go to default menu item setting , maybe that is entered in filed for menu item title you can find in right panel parameters.

This does not help at all. Where in the default menu item setting? Nothing like that in the back end of my sight

Usually in top or main menu, item with star.
