Virtuemart - Hot Baby - Home Page

I am stuck and need some advice....
Installed Hot Baby template and re-purposed it for our own products. No issues with Joomla or the template itself (that I know of).
My issue is the Template/Virtuemart interaction...
When I go to the cart for checkout, the cart page is on the 'home' page of the Joomla/template, so all the modules assigned to the home page (carousel, menus, advert, etc) all show up on the checkout page. Those big modules obviously interfere with the checkout process - especially on mobile devices.

The modules are clearly set to ONLY show on top-menu/home page. I cannot locate any redirect for the cart homepage to load on some other page. I would not have a problem creating a separate page just for the cart and then add the modules I want to show on that page....

Am I missing something, is there a way around this or a simple fix to create a workaround. I need to get this part set right so I can finish sandbox testing for CC payments and get it out to the public....

your hompepage is probably of type Virtuemart > virtuemart front page. Thing that you need is new page (new menu item) that will have type Virtemart > cart. And on that page turn off modules you don't want.

That should solve the problem.
