Open Ended Template Question was created by aaroninbna
I am in need of another template. My criteria is as follows...
Template needs to A LOT of sub-menus drop down from the topmenu bar.
Each sub-menu's width can be easily changed. My menu tree would have
close to a dozen plus sub-menus.
I like the three column of the Coffeine, but not the limited predefined styles.
What limitations would I be facing. On a normal HTML site, the index page would lengthen depending on the amount of sub-menus that I have added. Does Joomla v1.6, have any limitations with the drop down menus and the amount or page displays?
Thanks for all the help you have given me !

Hi,
.js and .css from template are not limiting deepens of tree. I have never seen menu deeper than 5, I assume it will work.
Width of items is not controlled by .js or .css.
I thing there is no limitation for sub menus , but think of usability and ergonomic factor for site visitor.

Ivan,
I agree with the last part about the design of a user friendly site. I believe that I will create one with all the sub-menus, but will offer another demo with different options so my customer can see that moving your mouse through hords of options versus a list box. I think they are unsure of what they really need.
Thank you
