Logo is missing

What is causing the logo (in the upper lefthand corner) to not appear on my site? The area is completely blank. I know that "logo" a module position. But how do I get my image to appear there?

After posting my question here, I watched a YouTube video on how to place a logo in a module. I got the logo to work, but now I wonder why my logo is not flush with the top of the content area (as your demo site shows). Did I do it correctly? Is there a better way, perhaps?
