Please explain to a beginner how FILTERABLE CONTENT BOXES IN JOOMLA can be done in more detail, because your instructions are not quite up-to-date, in which file to insert the path to js izotope, because there is no php, there is html, you need a specific path to the file in which it should be written <script src="/PATH_TO_YOUR_TEMPLATE/isotope.pkgd.min.js"></script>. Where to insert Add Script For Filterable Content Boxes, in some php or html file or in the same module where all the div from the Conclusion are located.

The first problem 1.3. Open the index.php file of your template and before the closing body tag, add a reference to the Isotope script, like this

Second problem 2. Add Script For Filterable Content Boxes

To be more precise, the problem lies in which file to insert all this into

Hello,

Please let us know which template you are using. Is it the Flat template: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/flat/ ?

Hello,

The Ice Cream template doesn't have this feature. You can add the features you need by installing additional extensions from extensions.joomla.org/

Try finding the extension that has a filterable content boxes feature and install it. This could be an easier way...

However, you can try to implement this feature from the Flat template into the Ice Cream template (but it's not for beginners). You would need to copy the Javascript code from Flat template from here demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/flat/media/t...te/flat/js/custom.js to the custom.js file of your template in /media/templates/site/icecream/js/custom.js

Then, in a custom HTML module, this is the HTML code for content boxes from Flat template:
Code:
<div class="button-group filter-button-group"> <button data-filter="*" class="active">Show all</button> <button data-filter=".category1">Environment</button> <button data-filter=".category2">Sketches</button> <button data-filter=".category3">Technology</button> </div> <div class="grid" style="position: relative; height: 1182px;"> <div class="grid-item category1" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample1.jpg" alt="brush"> <h4>Brush</h4> <p>Consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category3" style="position: absolute; left: 376px; top: 0px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample2.jpg" alt="espresso"> <h4>Espresso</h4> <p>Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category2" style="position: absolute; left: 753px; top: 0px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample3.jpg" alt="wooden pen"> <h4>Wooden Pen</h4> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr at accusam.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category2" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 394px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample4.jpg" alt="sketches"> <h4>Sketches</h4> <p>Consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category2" style="position: absolute; left: 376px; top: 394px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample5.jpg" alt="notebooks"> <h4>Notebooks</h4> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr at accusam.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category3" style="position: absolute; left: 753px; top: 394px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample6.jpg" alt="mighty mouse"> <h4>Mighty Mouse</h4> <p>Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category1" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 788px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample7.jpg" alt="sony"> <h4>Sony</h4> <p>Consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category1" style="position: absolute; left: 376px; top: 788px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample8.jpg" alt="plants"> <h4>Plants</h4> <p>Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est.</p> </div> <div class="grid-item category3" style="position: absolute; left: 753px; top: 788px;"> <img src="/flat/images/portfolio/sample9.jpg" alt="keyboards"> <h4>Keyboards</h4> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr at accusam.</p> </div> </div>

Of course, you must change image sources and point to your images.

Milos

Hi
I've already tried it - it didn't work.
It is not clear where to insert the izotope script.

Hello,

If you applied what I gave you in my previous message, it should work. If you claim that you applied the code I gave you, please provide the link to your site where I can check this.

Regards,
Milos
