Showing part of next picture in "slide mode"

My problem is:
Image slider cuts my picture to show the beginning of the next one. Problem disappears in fade mode, however i much rather use slide effect. How can i get rid of this?

I would also like move buttons just a few pixels from the edge of the slider, to the left. How cam I do it?
