Yes, you can insert any module in content, use command {loadposition user1} and it will be replaced with module from user1 position in this example. You can replace user1 with any other module position.

Hi,
If for example I was to add a separate image scroller gallery for each article I add, how would I go about that? For example I have a range of second hand bikes to add, but want a separate gallery for each bike.

You would need to create one module instance for each of those pages. Use Copy command in Module manager.
