Problem - images disappear

Hi,

I am wanting to use Hot Image Slider on a Joomla 2.5 site running K2. I have noticed that occasionally when I refresh the page, several if not all of the images have not loaded, they just show a black background. I can still click through the bullets to move to the next slide, but most of the slides are blank. Can this be fixed, and if so how?

I don't want my end users faced with blank sliders...

Using jquery reference from external link often causes that.

Hi Ivan, thanks very much for responding. Unfortunately I can't give out the link at this stage because the site is not yet "live". I was having jQuery conflicts in my code and so I am now using a plugin called jQuery Easy to insert jQuery 1.8 and remove all other conflicts. Are you saying that for HOT Image slider to work correctly it has to call jQuery locally?

Like this, you should have one , and only one reference to jquery, it should be before any other component that uses it. Use view source in your browser to check for that
