Blog articles appear to right of HOT Image Slider

Hi there,

I am continuing work on a new Joomla! 2.5 site with the Beez_20 template installed: www.quartertonclass.org/new/

I have installed and configured the HOT Image Slider on the homepage "Home", with a Category Blog called "2013 News".

All looks OK until a user clicks one of the article title links to open the article in its own window. The HOT Image Slider remains and the article title and body text is squeezed to the right.

I found this topic in the forum ( www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/support-forum...eb-page-to-the-right ) and followed the steps, but when I search default.php for "wrap" I only find "div.hotwrap". I tried editing each of the three results to "div.hotwrap_hjt" but couldn't see any change.

I found this article too but the only change it made was to drop my grey border: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/support-forum...with-joomla-template .

I would imagine that if I can disable the HOT Image Slider from any pages other than the "Home" page it would be fine. When I look under Extensions -> Module Manager -> HOT Image Slider, only the Home page is checked so I'm a bit confused.

My guess is that it is because I have assigned the "2013 News" Category Blog to the Home menu page which might lock the HOT Image Slider into subsequent pages.

The historical 2012 and 2011 news pages are OK: www.quartertonclass.org/new/index.php?op...ies&id=88&Itemid=474

I do notice that when I hover the mouse over the 2013 News link it has "layout=blog" in its link, whereas News 2012 and 2011 don't.

Any assistance as to where I have gone wrong and what I could do to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

The homepage and slider is just as I want it, however the issue is when someone clicks one of the article links on from the homepage, e.g. try clicking the "Wow - hot news....." link: www.quartertonclass.org/new/

Any thoughts as to how I could fix the problem, or preferably hide the slider from those blog articles?

Well that is thing with joomla, if you don't have menu item for some link joomla will use home page assignment.
