Setup / Configuration was created by theredone
I am new to Joomla! and to HOT Image Slider; however, I have already learned a lot about Joomla! and have been able to make some changes to the template that I'm using (
123wd-j15-1
).
I want to replace the current, static image at the top of the page, with an image rotator. After reading about several modules available, I chose HOT Image Slider because it got great reviews.
I have installed and enabled the module but I cannot get it to "work" / "appear" on the web page.
Here are the settings I have used:
Extensions > Module Manager > HOT Image Slider >
Show Title: NO
Enabled: YES
Position: top
Order: 2::HOT Image Slider
Access Level: Public
Module Parameters
Module Class Suffix: */ I left this empty /*
Load jQuery: Enabled
Slider Width: 600
Slider Height: 300
Border Width: 20
Background Color: 1AB300
Text Color: ffffff
Image Buttons: Enabled
Image Name: Enabled
Image Description: Enabled
Linking Images: Disabled
Navigation Button Color: White
Is there something more I need to do to make this work? Should I change the CSS on the template? And if so, what should I change?
Please help the newbie

You didn't publish module on this page at all. Please publish it on available module position.

Thanks for taking a look at the page and identifying the problem. However, I'm such a newbie that I don't know what you mean by "publish it on available module position".
