I'm getting the following message on a standard Joomla 1.6 template. What am I missing, probably something obvious?!

Hi,Try this, but backup original file first.Replace \modules\mod_hot_image_slider\tmpl\default.php with one in zip attachment.

Thanks for the quick response, but it didn't work, just moved the reference to line 8.

Also in the Joomla1.6 module manager I am getting this message:

That is basically just warning and you probably enabled debugging in joomla or turned on some option so you see that. No real problems will happen because of that, just get rid of messages.
