Hi,
I have followed the instructions in this forum and removed the semitransparent text/button background but I would also like to remove the module background totally (or make it transparent).

I would also like to make the module much wider than the pictures and then position the text to the right of the picture. The module width isn't a problem but the text always get's oriented over the picture and I would instead like to have it to the right of the picture...

Is this fairly easily doable or does it mean redesigning the module more or less totally??

Ok, posted too quickly - Getting rid of the background I found - delete line 31 in default.php:
"background:#'.$backgroundColor.';"

Now only reposition of the text remains...
Would be nice if I could reposition that to the right of the picture with a small space in between...

OK, managed to fix that one as well. Thought I should have built a new module with a few more parameters (happy to send back to you - it's your IPR to start with anyhow) but when I wanted to test that one I tried to uninstall mod_hot..... but it is not lsited among my installed modules.

I'm certainly not an Joomla expert so I don't really know how to uninstall someting that is not listed as an installed module (in module uninstall).

?? How to uninstall?

I did build a new module packge I wanted to test but I can't really as it is already installed....

So, you altered our module and created new module. You should change its name (on many places throughout the code), or keep original name, but in this case you should first uninstall old module from site and install your module. Because, two modules with the same names can't be installed at once.

And, if you like to share your modifications with others, please attach your module here. Maybe it will be useful for someone else too.

Hi, Sure I will post it back so you can share with others should you want.

Ok, I will do my best to change the name but before doing that (I also realized the name is in several places) I wanted to verify that the new package was ok.

Yesterday I couldn't find your module in extensions/module uninstall but today I can so I will try later on to uninstall and re-install the new package...

To uninstall module in Joomla, go Extensions > Install/Uninstall > Modules > Select module > Uninstall.
