Slider works with sample data images only

Hi, the image slider seem to only work with images provided by the sample joomla data but not with any other images i have uploaded into the joomla directory. what issue could it be? type, size maybe? i have tried both enabling jquery and disabling jquery and doing so did not work for my own images and i have tried with quite a few.

hi, ok i have managed to get the images showing in the slider but the size is not quite right. does it mean i will need to resize it first in photoshop and if so what should it be resized to?

Yes you will have to do that, if image is smaller than view area size you can put transparent background around image graphic and save if as png of gif.

what if the image is bigger than the view area? how should i resize it?

Resize graphic to get best look , actual image size must be same as of other images (view area).
