How to use formatting inside content editor? was created by orish
This probably applies to all templates, I have blankie. (Joomla 2.5).
I want to be able to select formatting styles in the article text editor, but there only seem to be a very limited number of choices.
How do I select things like fonts, or any of the various class styles defined in blankie? And where do I go to modify these styles (CSS style sheets)? Some of them can be changed in the template manager, but there are many other styles or attributes that can be changed. Where do I go to change them?
A similar problem is that I can't find how to link to other content (or articles). When I click on insert link, there doesn't seem to be a way to select from all the other articles available and then linking to it. The only way is to know the URL and then type in something like mywebsite.com/index.php?template/about and hope that gets to the article you want.
This was a standard feature in joomla 1.5 - so maybe it's no longer available in 2.5 (and nothing to do with the template)????

I think you are referring on styles form editor, maybe you just need to configure editor plugin.

Hi thanks for responding. But, no, I mean that I'm trying to select different fonts or styles from within the content editor - and I can't see any options for doing that.
Also, I want to link to other articles inside an article, and there isn't a way to select from the articles available.
Maybe this is a general joomla problem and nothing to do with your blankie template (unless the template modifies these things in some way).
How do I do this?
Thanks,

Problem solved. I installed a different editor. Originally it was set to tinyMCE in global configuration. I installed JCE and that has more formatting options. Thanks anyway.
