Mobility Hotstart was created by Alexandros
Hello,
I've tried several templates with hotstart installation and had no problems. When I tried the same with Mobility Hotstart I got the error "You don't have permission to access /installation/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance

Please use FTP software to check permissions. All folders must be CHMOD 755 and all files 644.

How can I do this from the cPanel? Checking the appropriate permission boxes before uploading the hotstart file?

Yes. Also, check permissions after unpacking the HotStart archive on the server.

I've set permissions 755 before uploading. After extracting, all files are 644 but folders 700. Do I have to change all folders one by one to 755? Or am I doing sth wrong from the beginning?

Yes, after extracting just change permissions of ALL folders (folders and subfolders) to 755.
It's maybe easier to use FTP software such as FILEZILLA to unpack files on your computer and then upload.
