Errors on mobility install

Hi,

I installed the mobility template and I am seeing two errors in my Firebug window. They are:

jQuery("div.foo").carousel is not a function
[Break On This Error] equalWidths: "true"

and

jQuery("div#hot-joomla-gallery").slideViewerPro is not a function
[Break On This Error] shuffle: false


Any ideas?

Did you use HotStart installation? Please post your link.

Hi. Yes I did use the hoststart installation. I just backed everything up and started over again and am still having issues. I've tracked it now to changing anything with the 'index.php' page. When I try to change anything on the index.php everything breaks - the home link starts going to a different address and the front page stops communicating with the database. The only thing I am changing is the background image on the index.php which is in the same folder as the original image so it should not be doing this.

Hi,

if you are downloading file to your computer , changing it and then uploading back maybe file encoding is changed. Try to use joomla's embedded template editor. Template Manager - > <YOUR TEMPLATE> -> Edit HTML
