Site ruined by opening index.php was created by waterwalk
I'm extremely unhappy right now. I went in to add analytics code to a site that has been finished for a month. As site that I paid extra to be able to have permissions for and by opening the index.php file the whole site has been ruined. This is ridiculous. I only wanted to add the google analytics for the site as I've done for 20 other templates and to have the mere opening of the file ruin the site is just crazy. The site is completely messed up right now and I'm wondering why I paid extra to have the extra permissions for this template.

How do I add the analytics and how do I get the site running again? There is nothing added to the index.php file at all. I can't believe this has just happened.

Post a link please.

Let me get this right...

1. You opened the template index.php but made no changes and now the site has changed appearance in a bad way?

2. You have not put the analytics code in yet?

3. You opened index.php how? Through Joomla or via cpanel?

4. Did you save it at any point before closing?
