Cannot position Gallery on HotResponsive Template

Dear Support,

New to Joomla so please bear with me. I have managed to get everything up and running using the HOTStart option. I have since added the free Hot Joomla Gallery but cannot work out how to add it to the main content of the page.

I can make it appear by selecting the Module from the Module Manager and then 'Select Position' but this puts the gallery in all the locations apart from the main central content area.

Can you please advise as a matter of emergency.
