how do I do to modify Hot Joomla Gallery to have an effect like that is in the demo of the Architecture template?

If you want what you see on the home page of the Architecture template demo, this is not Hot Joomla Gallery module. This is Hot Newsflash module and it's modified for this template. You must use the modified version of Hot Newsflash. It's included in the template package.
