Installation Hoit-software template on J2.5

Hi,
I downloaded Software template for J2.5, but there is some problems.
I try to install 'hot_software25_hotstart' but installing process was broken. When I check what can be problem I found on server after unziping hotstart file more bad permission. You you can seen on attached file. When I change generally permission for all folder to 755 and files to 644. After that installation was without problems.
Second question is: installed template have version 1.6 not 2.5. Is that OK?

Yes, it happens sometime if you unpack archive directly on the server. This depends of the server configuration. You can CHMOD all folders to 755 easily using Filezilla. Select all folders, right click, File Permissions. Change it to 755 and check option Recurse into subdirectories (directories only).

Another option is to unzip on your local computer and upload all files by FTP (again I recommend Filezilla).

You are right. I unziped file on server. For automatically changing chmod I use FlashFXP ftp softver which run very well.
