Having problem with iPad browser

I notice that when I view my website on iPad the background appears as black. Is this a compatibility issue? Anyone having the same problem with hot-software template? See www.johnmckinnon.com

Anyway, I have sorted out the problem by deleting the link to the background png file provided by the template. This problem only appeared recently.
