CSS file not writable

Hi,
sometimes it happens that CSS files are not writable. CHMODE are 777 in the ftp connection.
How can I do?

This is not related to template, but to settings of your server. Sometimes, when you edit file through Joomla, you can't overwrite it via FTP, and vice versa. Please ask your hosting provider about it.
