Registration Spam problem was created by mercury1
Hello :
I get about 200 spam users , registering on my website every day. I know there are some captcha apps that can be used. but is there any specific spam module that you suggest for this template ? is there anything wrong I have done that's causing this much spam users ? any technique I should use ?
many thanks

There are menu captcha, and re-captcha solutions this days. Every captcha has an problem if is to much distorted users can not recognize letters if simpler distortion is given on next tries that also makes easier job for OCR to recognize letters.
Also I saw jobs posted on freelancing sites from people willing to pay like 200$ to someone to create him 500 gmail accounts, so that are actually real people.
Best solution is to have custom solution owned only by you so probability of existence of robot software designed to do registrations on your site does not exist.
Also that solution should allow only one registration from same IP in like 24h so you would be protected form real people abusing your site.
I can make you something like that if you are interested to apply for custom job you can send me your contact e-mail using "Report To Moderator". About "customness" of solution we think of something creative that is technically applicable.
