Reload in firefox was created by aggerfoto
Good morning ,
First of all is there a `solved button- for the other threads?
Here my new problem : D
In the IE browser the page background loads once-when you push the menu buttons only the new content loads - fine
Surprisingly in firefox the whole page reloads every time you use a menu link...
again the link zahnarztpraxis-altefabrik.de/praxishoering
Thanks for your support
Tine

We don't have the "solved" button yet, maybe in future.
I checked your site and it loads fine in FF. Perhaps you are concerned about page loading speed. It depends of many factors: browser itself, your server load in this moment, your connection speed in this moment, etc. Anyway, there's nothing in template itself or Joomla that you can do to change it.

No, I´m not concerned about the speed - it’s the background and the menu that is concerning me.
In IE (and that is surprisingly so, because with other templates the IE browser is the one which reloads all the time) in the IE browser the background and head of the page loads once and when you select a menu button the background stays stable and only the new content loads.
In the FF the whole side reloads- background, Main menu and the new content-when choosing a menu point.
I just want that the background picture/color- the Header and the footer and the main menu load once and when you chose a menu item only the new content should load - as in the IE browser.
Thanks for your support

Please understand, there are no commands or techniques in HTML or CSS that can be used to force browser not to load, in example, a background image every time. Usually, all browsers store loaded files (in our example, background image) in cache on your hard disk. So, the second time they are loading those files very fast.
So, I believe it's problem on your end in your Firefox. I checked your site with Firefox and it works fine. There's no reloading of background image as Firefox stores it in cache as with any other site.
Please try to reinstall Firefox or try on another computer.
