Using J4 Architecture template
Using Latest blog posts in right column - looks good
Works well, click link and articles opens on left.

But page opens with left black.  How do I put a default blog post on left so page is full?

I want a blog post to show when page is opened. List looks great on right and when a link is clicked, blog appears on left.

From the page source, I see this article is empty. There's no content inside (text, images...).

I am not 100% but perhaps the menu item type for the link you provided is set to Single Article. Also, the single article you selected is empty. You can add some content to the article.

Thanks again Milos - you set me on the right track.

I didn't know you could set a featured article for a category. 15 years plus of Joomla and never done it! You only know what you know.

Once one identified, change away from single articles and it works.
